Third grade has been working on fractions and as we move forward will continue to work with the next Topic. The scores for the class were not where they should be and we need to keep working with fractions.
3rd Grade

Friday: 11-4 Problem Solving: Make and Test Generalizations
4th Grade
Monday: 12-9 Subtracting Mixed Numbers
Tuesday: 12-10 Decomposing and Composing Fractions
Wednesday: 12-11 Problem Solving: Draw a Picture and Write an Equation
Thursday: Chapter 12 Online Practice Test
Friday: Chapter 12 Enhanced Online Test
SOCIAL STUDIES
We have presented the region groups for 3rd grade, and the partner presentations for 4th grade. This week we will be starting Unit 3 and working with vocabulary and important people, places, and dates.
WRITING
Students in both grades will continue to work on their opinion papers.
READING
We will be moving on to Unit 6 in Benchmark Reading.
